Denso Gen 4 DTC Off for Toyota & Lexus ECUs

Last updated

What is a Denso Gen 4 file?

Denso ECUs used by Toyota and Lexus are commonly grouped by generation, from Gen 1 on older vehicles up to Gen 4 on the most recent ones. The generation determines how the readout file is structured, so it is the first thing we ask for when you place an order.

Gen 4 is the generation we focus on most, and the service also covers Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3 files.

What does DTC off mean?

DTC off means the diagnostic trouble codes you select are disabled in the ECU file, so the ECU stops logging them and stops reacting to them. We only disable the codes you request and do not alter the rest of the calibration.

Disabling a code hides the warning, it does not repair a faulty part. Diagnose and repair real faults first.

What you need to send us

  • Your original readout file in .bin, .hex or .ori format (up to 10 MB).
  • The file generation. For these files choose 4th Generation.
  • The engine model, the vehicle model and the vehicle year.
  • The list of DTC codes to remove, separated by commas.

How to order, step by step

  1. Create a free account and verify your email address.
  2. Top up your balance with PayPal or Binance Pay. Each processed file costs 20 credits.
  3. Open New Request, upload your readout and fill in the vehicle and DTC details.
  4. We process the file, most of them within 2 hours during business hours, and notify you by email and on your dashboard.
  5. Download the modified file from your History page.

Before you flash: checksum

We do not calculate or correct checksums. Use a flashing tool that corrects the checksum when it writes the file, such as PCMFlash or BitBox, and make sure it supports your ECU. Our flashing checklist walks through the whole process.

⚠️ Modified files are intended exclusively for competition and off-road vehicles. Using them on public roads may violate local regulations and is the user's responsibility. See our Terms & Conditions.
